CBD, short for cannabidiol is one of more than a hundred cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis. Unlike THC, another well-known cannabinoid, CBD is non-psychoactive.
When applied topically to the skin, the most immediately recognizable effect is that it is rich in essential fatty acids, which assists in maintaining healthy, youthful, and glowing skin.
